These terms apply to purchases made through sydneypoolequipment.com.au ("the website"), operated by Sydney Pool & Equipment Service Pty Ltd, ABN 53 691 384 004 ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order, you agree to these terms together with our Shipping & Delivery, Returns & Refunds, Warranty and Privacy Policy pages.

1. Products and pricing

• All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
• Shipping costs are shown at checkout before you pay.
• We take care to describe and photograph products accurately, but colours and minor details can vary slightly from what you see on screen.
• If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of an error, we will contact you before processing the order. You can then choose to pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

2. Orders

• Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we dispatch the goods. If we can't fulfil an order, for example because stock is unavailable, we'll let you know and refund any payment in full.
• You'll receive an order confirmation email after checkout. Please check the details and contact us promptly if anything is wrong.

3. Payment

• We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Afterpay. Payments are processed securely by WooPayments (powered by Stripe). We never see or store your full card details.
• Afterpay purchases are also subject to Afterpay's own terms.

4. Delivery, risk and ownership

• Delivery options, times and costs are set out on our Shipping & Delivery page.
• The goods are at your risk once they are delivered to your nominated address. Ownership passes to you when we receive payment in full.

5. Returns, refunds and warranty

See our Returns & Refunds and Warranty pages. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

6. Installation and services

Online purchases are for supply of goods only. Installation, servicing and pool maintenance are quoted and agreed separately. We recommend that pumps, filters and chlorinators are installed by a qualified professional and, where electrical work is needed, a licensed electrician. Incorrect installation may affect the manufacturer's warranty.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss arising from the use of a product contrary to the manufacturer's instructions, or for indirect or consequential loss to the extent permitted by law.

8. Website use

Content on this website, including text, images and logos, belongs to us or our suppliers and may not be copied for commercial use without permission. Product names and brands are the trademarks of their owners.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in place at the time you place your order apply to that order.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
